The River Hill Ice Hawks are off and running with competitive league games and a successful Thanksgiving Service Project providing groceries to families in need. 9th and 10th graders who know how to skate can take advantage of the Holiday Special - Join the team for FREE in December! VOLLEYBALL HIGHLIGHTS

River Hill enjoyed a large tryout turnout this year including 45 Freshmen with 25 of these players receiving positions on the three teams. Our new Freshmen coach, Karene Macedo, was well received by our teams and lead a group of young ladies who had not had any volleyball experience to a 10-2 record. Mike Colonna returned as River Hill's JV coach to lead the JV team to their second undefeated season in a row, this is quite an accomplishment in Howard County! Our Varsity team, young with 3 Freshmen players and 2 Seniors, became a force to be reckoned with! During playoffs River Hill's Varsity team lost in 5 sets to Glenelg, who went on to become a state semi-finalist!

MAKE A LASTING IMPRESSION

Many of you have had the chance to experience a meeting or performance at River Hill sitting in our new cushioned seats. To date, we have raised over $70,000 through a variety of generous donors, including a $30,000 gift from River Hill Boosters.

All the seats have now been installed, but the job is not done! We still need to reach our goal to pay the final $30,000 installment.

Currently in stock are fleece blankets, car magnets and lanyards. Check back often as we will continue to stock the store with new items throughout the year. DRIVER'S EDUCATION
