Donation for Recreation
Donation for Recreation was formed with the purpose to collect sporting goods equipment that people are no longer using (new and used) and distribute to kids in low income areas to allow them to play sports that they may not otherwise be able to play due to the cost of equipment. Donation for Recreation was founded by RHHS students Spencer Brockdorff, Robby Windsor and Ishan Oza with the intent to give all kids the opportunity to enjoy sports no matter their financial circumstances. Julia Windsor, Freshman at River Hill, is the current President of Donation for Recreation and can be reached at 443-878-9411.
River Hill Boosters encourages community participation in helping Donation for Recreation meet their goal of more than $10,000 worth of equipment collected by the end of the year. Donation bins will be set up at the River Hill football field during home football games. Please take a few minutes and go through your closet and pull out any sporting good equipment (no hats or clothing please) you may have and bring it to our next home game. Let's support our Hawks meet their goal!!!
