Boosters is currently seeking volunteers to fill several key committee positions for the 2020-2021 school year. Open positions include:
  1. Treasurer

Responsible for balancing Quickbooks with checking account monthly, helping to set the annual budget, entering purchases and income into quickbooks.  Helping get tax info to accountant as needed.

  2. Membership Chair
Oversees Boosters’ Annual membership campaign. Main duties include preparing the summer membership campaign flyer, monitoring registrations (most registrations are now done online, saving a huge amount of time), preparing membership packages, etc. Bulk of the work is completed by Thanksgiving.
  3. Birthday Hawk Coordinator
Coordinate the Birthday Hawk program - one of Boosters’ biggest ongoing fundraisers. All orders are taken online. The coordinator will be responsible for leading a team of birthday hawk “handlers” to make sure signs are installed on the appropriate dates. This is not a hard job, but requires organization and is ongoing throughout the year.
  4. Concessions Coordinator
Our current concessions manager will be graduating out next year. We are putting out feelers for a motivated person who may be interested in taking over this position.  Duties would include shopping for the concession stand weekly, keeping inventory, checking inventory, coordinating with Pizza and Chick Fil A for special events. The Concessions Coordinator will have a team of volunteers to help assist with all duties.
  5. Concessions Team Members
Under the leadership of the Concessions Coordinator, the concessions team will be assigned shopping and stocking duties throughout the year.
  6. Website Co-Coordinator
This person will shadow the current webmaster and would eventually take over the position the following year. Duties include keeping the website up to date and coordinating the back end of the online store. This is great position for someone who can volunteer from home. Formal training will be provided by our web provider, Membership Toolkit.
